How Many Topics Deleted From JEE Main 2025: To effectively prepare for JEE Main 2025, it is crucial to understand the topics one needs to cover in each syllabus. To assess candidates' knowledge and skills required for the current technical field, NTA keeps revising the syllabus on a timely basis.  For the JEE Main 2025 exam also, NTA has removed certain topics from the exam syllabus.

In Physics, several topics have been removed. This includes the Carnot Engine and its efficiency from Geostationary Satellites, Thermodynamics, Resonance, Hysteresis, and more. Similarly, in Chemistry, topics such as Precision and Accuracy, Dimensional Analysis, Polymers, etc., have been deleted. 

Understanding how many topics deleted from JEE Main 2025 syllabus helps candidates enhance their preparation. Additionally, candidates create an effective study plan that mainly focuses on high-weightage topics.

Is JEE Main 2025 Syllabus Reduced?

The JEE Main 2025 syllabus has been updated across the three main subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. These changes are aimed at streamlining the exam topics and making the syllabus more focused. 

Below are the key changes made to JEE Main syllabus:

  • Physics: Topics like Electromagnetic Induction, Optics, and Alternating Currents have been combined into a single chapter.

  • Chemistry: The p-block Elements chapter has been split into two sections. These include:

    • Group 13 to 17 Elements

    • Group 18 Elements

  • Mathematics: The chapters on Vectors, 3D Geometry, and Linear Programming (LPP) have been merged into one combined chapter. Additionally, the Sets, Relations and Functions chapter has been divided into two separate chapters. These are

    • Sets and Relations

    • Functions
