JEE Exam Pattern 2025: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a national-level entrance exam for admission to UG engineering programs in India. It has two parts: JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The JEE Main exam pattern for 2025 includes two papers: Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech. and Paper 2A for B.Arch. 

  • Paper 1 is mandatory, while Paper 2A is optional for B.Arch. aspirants. Each paper is three hours long with MCQs in Section A and NVQs in Section B, where candidates must attempt any five out of ten NVQs. Both sections have negative marking. 

Note: The JEE Advanced exam pattern 2025, to be announced by IIT Kanpur, will also include two three-hour online papers featuring multiple-choice, numerical value, and matching-type questions with full, partial, and zero marks.
