With the NEET UG 2026 Result declared, the next step for qualified candidates is the NEET UG 2026 counselling process. Counselling is the gateway to admission into MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, and other undergraduate medical courses in India.
The counselling process is conducted in two parts:
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, Deemed Universities, Central Universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC, and AFMS institutions.
State Counselling Authorities for 85% State Quota seats and state private medical colleges.
As of now, MCC has not released the official NEET UG 2026 counselling schedule. The detailed notification, registration dates, and counselling timetable are expected to be announced shortly on the official MCC website.
