Details of NEET Qualifying Examination Code 2024

Code 01: If you're currently in Class 12 and your board exams are scheduled for 2024, select this code. Just remember, you must pass Class 12 as per the specified criteria before the time of admission, or you won't be eligible.

Code 02: Choose this code if you're either in higher secondary education or pursuing the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), which is equivalent to Class 12 and follows 12 years of schooling. In these last two years, you should have studied science subjects (like Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and Mathematics) or other electives with English as a core subject, as per NCERT guidelines. This code is also for students who are retaking the qualifying examination, like those preparing for a gap year.

Code 03: If you've completed your Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science from an Indian university or recognised board, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects, select this code. This qualification should include practical tests in the science subjects. This code applies to those who have finished their Class 12 or equivalent qualification from a state board as well.

Code 04: If you've taken a Pre-professional/Pre-medical Examination after passing your Higher Secondary Examination, Pre-University, or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, this code is for you. This pre-medical exam should also include practical tests in these subjects.

Code 05: If you're pursuing a three-year degree course from a recognised university and have completed the first year with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology, including practical tests, choose this code. Remember, your earlier qualifying examination should be 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.

Code 06: For those who have a BSc degree from a recognized Indian university and have passed the 10+2 examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, this code is the one to select. Additionally, you should have covered at least two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology), or Biotechnology.

Code 07: Opt for this code if you've passed an examination in a foreign country that is considered equivalent in terms of content and standards to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board. This equivalent examination should include practical tests in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology during the last two years of your 10+2 studies.
